From Personal Experience to Purposeful Solution

Similar to so many in aging care, everyone at KareTeam has their own story of caring for aging loved ones. Our founder, Patrick Bultema, grew up in a close-knit community of just 250 people—mostly Swedish immigrant ranchers. In this small town, he was surrounded by grandparents and even four great-grandparents. As the town newspaper boy for many years, Patrick essentially served as the daily check-in for homebound seniors. The elders were treasured and supported by the entire community, after all, they represented the legacy and values of the community.

Beyond these personal connections, our team brings decades of professional expertise in aging services and senior living. We've witnessed firsthand both the growing desire of seniors to age in their own homes and the significant challenges this creates for families and professionals trying to provide support.

KareTeam grew out of this unique combination of personal passion and professional insight. We're driven by a deep commitment to honoring our elders while offering practical solutions to care professionals that help families support the aging loved ones in their lives.

With roots in senior living and personal experience supporting aging family members, we understand both the challenges and possibilities of aging at home. While we respect the vital role of care communities, we recognized that most aging adults want to stay in their own homes. We created KareTeam to make this possible.
